The advantages of using waterjet cutting for tire section testing are as follows:

Design plan:

① Connect and fix the tire and fixture in the waiting area, while the XYZA axis returns to the mechanical zero point to avoid interference during tire transportation. Lift the front door tire of the water tank with a rotating crane, slowly lower it into the water tank, fix the fixture on the lifting platform, and move the rotating crane arm to the safe area.

② Select and load the corresponding cutting tire program at the operation console, manually align the cutters for the tire’s first cut, and then run the cutting command. The whole system starts to work, and the dual cutting heads perform the cutting process without further manual intervention.

③ After the cutting is completed, the equipment stops running, and the XYZA axis automatically returns to the processing zero position, waiting for the next command.

④ Move the crane arm to the working cutting area, release the fixture from the water tank lock, use a rope to lift the tire off the working water tank to the waiting area, and separate the fixture from the tire. Move the tire to a safe area, and turn the fixture into the next waiting area.

⑤ Assemble the next tire and repeat steps 1-4.

⑥After completing the cutting process, turn off the main power supply, gas source and water supply, and clean and maintain the equipment.
